BSS-DO was established in 1983. It is a Centre of Excellence for Therapeutic Bodywork – Shiatsu and Shin Tai using energetic and physical touch through Oriental Medicine techniques.

The Colchester school has been running since 1997 in an idyllic rural setting just outside Colchester, with easy rail and road links from London, East Anglia and the UK in general.

We are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of teaching and practise. Since our establishment in 1983, we have been reviewing and developing our syllabus to incorporate the most effective treatment methods. This brings us a rich healing therapy based in ancient roots, and meeting the ever-changing demands of modern life.
