About me

I trained at the Bristol School of Shiatsu and stayed on as a teaching assistant after completing the three-year diploma, continuing to learn through teaching and practice. My path to shiatsu grew from earlier studies in counselling, coaching, holistic massage, and meditation—but it was the relational approach at the heart of Bristol’s teaching that really spoke to me.

For me, shiatsu isn’t a one-size-fits-all treatment—it can be whatever the client needs it to be. Sometimes that means offering deep rest and nourishment when those things are hard to come by in daily life. Other times, it might mean supporting someone to find strength, clarity, or motivation during a time of change or challenge. I see the work as a collaboration—listening closely, responding with care, and always aiming to support autonomy, resilience, and each person’s natural creativity and capacity for healing.

I offer Shiatsu at The Wye Valley Wellness Centre in Tintern. At my home, I offer sessions that begin with time in the sauna—a chance to sit alone in the warmth and bring attention to whatever part of life is asking for support. It’s a way of gently applying heat to where energy is needed most—like an alchemical process of percolation and preparation. Afterwards, shiatsu offers space to soften, integrate, and receive care in a grounding and nurturing setting.
